I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Biology in 1999.  My first jobs included positions with two Fortune 500 companies in customer service and outside sales before beginning my Mary Kay business in February of 2002.  My stereotype was that Mary Kay was for "old women, with big hair, who wore blue eye shadow and drove pink cars"...being a basketball player growing up, I never thought I would do something like this!  In fact, I was even washing my face with Irish spring soap!  In 2002 my consultant asked me to listen to more about the company and I agreed to give my opinion.  After hearing the facts, I became a consultant to get my products at 50% off.  By 2003 I had promoted myself to an Independent Sales Director and earned my first Mary Kay car.  Since then, I have earned a total of 8 free cars and been a full time with Mary Kay for almost 10 years!  I love the independence, rewards, support, and growth this company provides.  This truly is the best opportunity available for women today!
